A client with impeccable taste indeed! Updating this home from Spanish themed rooms to a sophisticated French inspired look was quite a challenge. In addition to changing a lot of solid colors, we did several layered faux finishes that mimic high end wallpaper! Mica infused plaster, Lusterstone, metallics, venetian plasters...even lighting and artwork frames were refinished to compliment the new look!

My client wanted to update her beautiful home incorporating metallics to showcase the many beautiful pieces of artwork she had.  This lovely dining room was transformed from a mauve color to a stunning, new, updated look!! Foil and shimmering plaster brought this room up to date!  A deep chocolate sueded shimmery plaster was applied to the ceiling for drama.

Kids Dream Playroom

We transformed this space into a dream playroom for twin little girls. The walls were painted a soft gray, which allowed us to have fun with colors and patterns in all of the accents. From a reading nook complete with a hand sewn tent embellished with jewels and twinkle lights, to an active corner fit for ballerinas and soccer players, anything is possible in this dream playroom!

A simply stunning home that my client wanted to make a few updates/changes to.  Highlighting trim in the formal dining room and soft green glazing to the niche and ceiling made it come to life.  Dining area was transformed from a dark green to a French inspired look with mica infused plaster and embedded stencil.

The client wanted solid metal mantels however, with a 12 week lead time, I was able to give them another option. Metallo Fuso or “liquid metal” saved the day! Both were custom built and then finished to look like metal in bronze and brass!

These cabinets were previously painted blue using a brush and roller and apparently just a good ol trim paint…YIKES! All the high touch areas were breaking down and the finish was scratching off, so we came to the rescue with our tried and true refinishing process. Now they are a beautiful Sherwin Williams Snowbound white making the gorgeous countertops stand out even more! New hardware also updates the look.

Original wood cabinets that were still in excellent shape but needed a little updating! Client was looking to brighten up the space without replacing the perfectly functional cabinets, so we refinished them in pale gray and lightly glazed with a complimentary color for character and depth.

Fading maple cabinets were refinished in Kilim Beige from Sherwin Williams. The island was a java custom color mix. New pulls were added to update from smaller knobs. This homeowner had their wood floors refinished too for a complete transformation!

Such a beautiful part of this room needed to really stand out! Metallic black and pewter with a subtle crackle finish did the trick!

Plain lightly stained cabinets received a fabulous “face lift” with crisp white on the cabinets and a devine blue on the island. New brushed brass hardware sets it all off for a richer, brighter look.

Too many colors of stained wood in one area called for a dramatic black finish along with a softening whitewash to the fireplace brick. Cozy!

The real copper bar top wasnt ready for a large party, so a faux finished metallic texture finish to the rescue!

Time for an update! Soffits removed; upper cabinets were custom made and all were refinished in a soft creamy white with a glaze; the island was extended and a beautiful Sappelli Mahogany wood counter top was installed. Several other cosmetic finishes completed the new, updated look!

Boring. Non-descript. Not very interesting. Just a few words that my client used to describe her kitchen. Working with the granite countertops, we did a custom weathered teak finish. What a huge change!
